Technogym Review 2026: Is the Italian Gym-Floor Favorite Worth It at Home?

Six a.m., the house still dark, and the only sound is the soft, even rhythm of rubber slats rolling under your feet. No car keys, no gym parking lot, no waiting for someone to finish their set. A 27-inch screen glows in front of you, a trainer's voice comes through a 30W sound system, and when the run segment ends you thumb a joystick, switch the deck into sled mode and start pushing. That is the kind of morning Technogym builds its home equipment around.
It is also serious money. So we went through Technogym's U.S. store in October 2026, from the treadmills and the Pilates reformer to delivery, returns and warranty terms, to help you decide which machine fits your space and how to pay as little as possible for it.
The Story: From an Italian Garage to the Olympic Gyms
Technogym's corporate site tells it simply: in 1983, Nerio Alessandri started building exercise equipment in his family's garage, helped by his brother Pierluigi. The company is still based in Cesena, Italy, and today it describes itself as a specialist in high-end sports equipment and digital training technology.
The brand's résumé is long. Technogym says it has been named Official Supplier to the Olympic Games ten times, most recently for Milano Cortina 2026, and lists football clubs such as Juventus, Inter, Milan and Paris Saint-Germain plus Formula 1 teams Ferrari and McLaren among its partners. On the design side, its U.S. homepage counts 50+ design awards since 2004, including 14 Red Dot and 18 ADI awards. In plain terms: these are the machines found in elite training centers, scaled down for a living room.
What Makes Technogym Different
Plenty of brands sell a treadmill and a screen. Technogym's pitch is the whole package, and the U.S. store backs it up with a few specifics:
- Delivery and installation are in the price. Product pages say each machine is delivered, professionally installed and tested, with onboarding from a Technogym expert. No wrestling a 456-lb box up the stairs yourself.
- Serious hardware. The Technogym Run uses a 60-element Slat Belt™ and Multidrive Technology™ that switches from running to sled pushes with up to 120 lbs of resistance, so one machine covers sprints and power work.
- Connected training. Machines link to the Technogym App and to platforms like Apple Watch, Garmin, Strava, Zwift and Kinomap (the exact list varies by product), so your data lands where you already track it.
- Design you won't hide. The Reform comes in Sand Stone or Pearl Grey finishes, and compact pieces like the MyRun and the foldable Elliptical are drawn to sit in a living space, not a basement.

The Lineup: Which Technogym Machine Fits Your Home?
| Product | Price (U.S.) | Buy this if… |
|---|---|---|
| Technogym Run | $14,350 | You want running and sled pushes on one deck, with a big screen |
| Technogym MyRun | $5,390 | You need a treadmill that fits a smaller room and uses your own tablet |
| Technogym Ride | $7,300 | You ride outdoors and want a smart bike set to your road bike position |
| Technogym Elliptical | $5,500 | You want a cardio machine that folds to under 0.5 m² of floor |
| Technogym Reform | $13,670 | Pilates is your thing and you want a reformer that looks like furniture |
| Technogym Bench | $4,990 | You'd like dumbbells, bands and a bench in one tidy unit |
| Unica | $11,580 | You want a full multigym (50+ exercises) in about 16 sq ft |
| Hexagon Dumbbell | From $60 each | You're adding free weights, 5 lb to 110 lb |
Technogym Run or MyRun?
The Run is the flagship: a slat belt, speeds up to 15.5 mph, incline up to 15%, a 27" display, and Technogym Plus content included on an ongoing basis. It also weighs 456 lbs and needs a ceiling of your height plus 23 inches. The MyRun is the apartment-friendly choice: 69 x 31 inches, inclines up to 12%, and a holder for your phone or tablet instead of a built-in screen. It comes with 30 days of Technogym Plus. Buy the Run if the treadmill is your main training tool; buy the MyRun if it has to share a room with a sofa.
Ride or Elliptical for low-fuss cardio?
The Ride is for cyclists. Its V-shaped frame adapts to frame sizes 50 to 58+, it offers three crank lengths, it tilts side to side, and the 22" screen runs Zwift, TrainingPeaks, Strava and Kinomap. Note that full on-demand classes need Technogym Unlimited at $29/month after the first 30 days. The Elliptical folds down to a footprint under 0.5 m², has pedals about 10 inches off the floor with rear entry, and adjusts resistance with the Fast Track Control so you don't have to break stride.
Reform or Bench for strength and studio work?
The Reform has a three-position headrest, two-position shoulder rests, a Quick Tilting footbar with 4 positions and 9 sliding configurations, and comes with double loop handles, foot straps and a grip pad. The Bench packs 5 pairs of hexagon dumbbells (5–20 lbs), 3 resistance bands and 3 pairs of weighted knuckles (1–3 lbs) into a wheeled bench with storage for every tool, so the floor stays clear when you're done.

Delivery, Returns and Warranty
| Policy | What Technogym says |
|---|---|

| Lead time | Within 8 weeks of order confirmation on most machines (Bench and Elliptical: within 11 weeks); they call to schedule |
| Returns | Within 14 days of delivery, by emailing customer service with the withdrawal form |
| Equipment returns | A courier collects the machine; Technogym covers the cost, refund after a quality check |
| Clothing & accessories | Unworn, unwashed, tagged and in original packaging; you pay the return shipping |
| Warranty | 2-year standard warranty for home use (wear parts like cables, upholstery and rubber excluded) |
| Extended cover | Technogym Care Plus, 4 years of callouts, labour and parts (e.g. $1,200 for Run, $650 for Ride, $490 for Elliptical) |
The 14-day window is short, so measure your room, doorways and ceiling before you order. The good news: on a cancelled equipment order, Technogym says it refunds what you paid, including delivery and installation, less any damage found on inspection.

Who Will Love Technogym?
- Runners who want a slat belt and running metrics like cadence, step length and power at home.
- Road cyclists who want a smart bike that matches their outdoor position without swapping wheels.
- Pilates regulars who'd rather own a reformer than book every studio class.
- Design-minded homeowners whose gym corner is also the living room.
- Anyone tired of DIY assembly: the installation team handles setup and testing.
How to Save at Technogym
- Buy a bundle. The Bundles page lists "Special Combo" pairs, such as Technogym MyRun + Technogym Bench for $9,550, compared with $10,380 if bought separately.
- Spread the cost. Technogym offers monthly payments with Affirm (for example, the MyRun shows from $149.72/month), subject to credit approval.
- Factor in what's included. Delivery and installation are already in the price, so there's no surprise freight bill.
- Check our deals page before you order in case a new offer goes live.

Our Verdict
Technogym is an investment, and it doesn't pretend otherwise. What you get for the price is detailed engineering, a delivery-and-install service that takes the hassle out of a heavy purchase, and machines designed to look good in your home. Go for the Run if running is your daily habit, the MyRun or Elliptical if space is tight, and the Reform if Pilates is your practice. Then use a bundle or Affirm to soften the bill. Check our Technogym deals page before you order so you see the current offers.
