LIVE! Sports Bra Size & Fit Guide 2026: Measure, Match Your Impact Level, Order Once

LIVE! Sports Bra Size & Fit Guide 2026: Measure, Match Your Impact Level, Order Once

Most sports bra mistakes happen before the workout even starts: in the fitting room you skipped, ordering "a medium, probably" online. Then the band rides up during burpees or the straps feel like a vise by the cool-down. With a brand that ships from Brazil, getting the size and support level right the first time matters even more, because an exchange costs time and a $5 restocking fee.

So SweatproofGear pulled LIVE! Activewear's own size guide, measuring instructions and the support details from its sports bra product pages, and turned them into a step-by-step fit guide. Everything below comes from liveactivewear.com in October 2026.

Step 1: Measure Yourself the LIVE! Way

You need a soft tape measure and two minutes. LIVE!'s size guide gives these instructions:

  • Bust: measure under your arms, at the fullest part of your bust, from one side of your body to the other.
  • Waist: measure the full circumference at the narrowest point of your waist.
  • Hips (for bottoms and one-pieces): measure the full circumference at the widest point of your hips.

The brand's "special hint" is worth taking seriously: compare these numbers with similar items you already own and like. If your favorite sports bra from another brand fits well, measure it flat and use it as a reference.

Step 2: Find Your Size on the Chart

SizeBust (in)Waist (in)Bust (cm)Waist (cm)
XS32 – 33.524 – 2582 – 8561 – 64
S34.5 – 35.526 – 2787 – 9066 – 69
M36 – 3727.5 – 2992 – 9570 – 73
L38 – 39.529 – 30.597 – 10074 – 77
XL40 – 4131 – 32.5101 – 10478 – 82
2XL43 – 44.534.5 – 36109 – 11388 – 92

Two things to notice. First, there are small gaps between sizes (for example 33.5 in to 34.5 in). If you land in one, think about the style: a high-compression running bra with fixed cups will feel snugger than a stretchy seamless yoga bra. Second, not every style comes in every size; many bras on the site are offered in S, M and L only, and sale styles are often down to one or two sizes.

Step 3: Match the Support Level to Your Workout

LIVE! tags its sports bras by impact level. Here is how the styles we checked are described:

ImpactStyles (Oct 2026 price)Good for
Low to mediumVoltstream Sports Bra ($42), Seamless Knit® Weave Bra ($52)Yoga, Pilates, walking, mobility work
MediumRace Pro® Reflex Bra ($78), Drop Shot Sports Bra ($68), Fit Green® Adaptiv Arc Bra ($58), LIVE! Symbol Hydefit® Adaptiv ($52), Laser Sense® Tide Racerback ($54 on sale)Training, racket sports, steady runs
HighHydefit® Adaptiv Ace Bra ($68), Race Pro® Cross Bra ($39 on sale), Grafeno Fresh Pro Sports Bra ($68)Intervals, jumping, hard running

A simple rule: the more your feet leave the ground, the higher the impact level you want.

Step 4: Choose the Fit Features You'll Actually Use

Adjustable bands and straps

If you're between sizes, adjustability is your friend. The Race Pro® Cross Bra has wide adjustable straps and an adjustable three-level back closure, and the Essential Power Intense Top pairs elastic straps with a regulator and a back hook closure. These let you fine-tune the fit as the bra relaxes with wear.

Front zips

Hate wrestling a tight bra over your head after a sweaty session? The Hydefit® Adaptiv Ace Bra has a front zip with a halter neckline, the Drop Shot has a reverse front zipper, and the Race Pro® Zip has a front zipper with full internal protection, according to the brand.

Removable or fixed cups

Most LIVE! bras use removable pads, slipped in through a small internal opening in the lining, so you can wear them with or without shaping. Running styles such as the Grafeno Fresh Pro, Race Pro® Zip and Hold 3-Pockets use fixed cups instead; on the Grafeno and Race Pro® Zip, the brand says the fixed padding "allows more freedom of movement."

Compression

The Race Pro® Reflex fabric (78% polyamide, 22% elastane) is described as high compression with "a firm fit to the body," while the Drop Shot and Hold 3-Pockets bras are medium compression. If you prefer a softer feel, the Seamless Knit® Weave (64% polyamide, 31% polyester, 5% elastane) is described as soft-touch with excellent stretch.

Step 5: Think About LYCRA® ADAPTIV

Several LIVE! bras, including the Allure Sports Bra, the Hydefit® Adaptiv range and the Hold 3-Pockets collaboration with Manu Cit, use LYCRA® ADAPTIV, which the brand calls an "inclusive technology" that adapts to different body shapes and movements. If you often find yourself between sizes, these styles are a sensible place to start because the fabric is designed to flex with you.

Step 6: Neckline and Back Style

  • Racerback (Race Pro® Reflex, Drop Shot, Laser Sense® Tide, Symbol Hydefit®): keeps straps from slipping and frees the shoulders, handy for overhead moves and racket swings.
  • Halter (Hydefit® Adaptiv Ace, Fit Green® Adaptiv Arc): highlights the shoulders and, on the Arc, adds a back opening for airflow.
  • Criss-cross straps (TOP CROSS LIVE!): a medium-support style with removable pads.
  • Square neckline (Seamless Knit® Weave, Athletic Pro Fuller, LIVE! Hydefit® Adaptiv): a cleaner line under tanks and tees.

Quick Picks by Body and Workout

  • Between sizes, mixed workouts: LIVE! Symbol Hydefit® Adaptiv ($52) for its LYCRA® ADAPTIV fabric.
  • High-impact training: Race Pro® Cross Bra ($39 on sale), with its adjustable three-level closure.
  • Runner who carries everything: Race Pro® Reflex ($78), with five pockets.
  • Yoga and Pilates: Seamless Knit® Weave ($52), stitch-free and soft.
  • Court player: Drop Shot ($68), with a reverse front zip.

The Takeaway

Measure your bust and waist, check the LIVE! chart, then pick the impact level before you pick the print. Add an adjustable or LYCRA® ADAPTIV style if you're between sizes, and keep tags on until you're sure. Free domestic returns and a $99 free-shipping line make it easy to get right. See our LIVE!
