HigherDOSE Lineup Compared 2026: Sauna Blanket vs. PEMF Mats vs. Red Light Mat, by Size and Specs

Before you pick a HigherDOSE device, walk into the room where it will live and look at the floor. Is there a clear six-foot stretch by the sofa? A desk chair you sit in eight hours a day? A dog bed that's seen better days?

That patch of floor is the real decision. Besides its cabin sauna, HigherDOSE sells five "lie on it, sit on it, wrap up in it" devices, and they differ a lot in size, weight, power and setup. We lined them up using the specifications printed on each product page on October 20, 2026, so you can compare them the way you'd compare a sofa: by fit first.

Infrared Sauna Blanket: The Zip-In Session

This is the one you climb inside. You preheat it flat on a heat-safe surface for 10–15 minutes, slide in, zip up and set one of nine levels on the handheld controller, with heat listed up to 175°F and a one-hour timer. HigherDOSE suggests starting with 30–40 minutes, wearing long sleeves, pants and socks or using the organic cotton towel insert, which now ships free with the blanket.

In the box: blanket, controller, power cord, carrying bag and manual, with a one-year limited warranty listed.

Choose this if: you want a long, warm, sweaty weekly ritual and can spare floor space for an hour, then fold everything away.

Infrared PEMF Go Mat: The One That Fits a Desk Chair

At 19.5 by 39 inches and 11 pounds, the Go Mat is half the size of the Pro Mat. HigherDOSE designed it to drape over a work-from-home chair, lie flat for stretching, then slide under the bed. It has the same six layers and four PEMF levels as the Pro Mat (3 to 23 Hz), with two PEMF cores instead of four, and the brand says the heat runs in a low-EMF range.

Choose this if: your "free time" is really desk time, or you live somewhere small. It's the only device here built for sitting rather than lying down.

Infrared PEMF Pro Mat: The Full Stretch

The Pro Mat is long enough to stretch out on, head to toe. Image: higherdose.com

The Pro Mat is the big sibling: 29 by 73 inches, a vegan leather surface and 43 pounds, so it tends to stay put once it's down. It carries four PEMF cores and a layer of amethyst and obsidian crystals, and draws 180 watts. You can buy it bare for $1,295 or with the organic cotton cover for $1,374.

Choose this if: you want to lie flat, stretch or meditate on it, and you have a spot where a six-foot mat can live. If you'll move it room to room, the weight is worth thinking about.

Full Body Red Light Mat: The Flexible Panel

Different technology, different shape. This mat is a 78.7 by 41.37 inch grid of 1,000 LEDs: 825 single-chip 660nm red and 175 dual-chip 660nm plus 850nm near-infrared, with a listed irradiance of 90 mW/cm² and a 40Hz pulse setting for the near-infrared. The exterior is PU leather over a silicone-covered LED panel, and it powers through USB-C to a wall plug.

Lie on it, lie under it on a sofa, or hang it vertically. Sessions run 20, 30, 40 or 60 minutes.

Choose this if: you want one large panel you can use lying down or standing, and don't need heat.

Infrared PEMF Pet Bed: For the Other Resident

Pets get their own version: a bolstered bed in two sizes, with two heat levels and six PEMF levels (3, 7.8, 10, 23, 30 and 60 Hz). The outer cover is removable and machine washable, and the cord has a chew-resistant housing that tucks into a zippered pocket. HigherDOSE suggests supervised first sessions and a word with your vet.

Choose this if: your dog keeps claiming your mat. A $139 shearling pet bed cover is sold separately.

Single Device or Starter Kit?

Each device has a kit listed on its own page. Here's what's inside and how the price compares with the listed value, as shown on October 20:

Lineup FAQ

What's the real difference between the Go Mat and the Pro Mat?

Size, weight and core count. Both list the same six layers and four PEMF levels; the Go Mat is 19.5" x 39" with two cores, the Pro Mat 29" x 73" with four.

Which device is easiest to put away?

The Sauna Blanket folds into its carrying bag, and the Go Mat slides under a bed. The 43-pound Pro Mat is the least portable.

Can the red light mat be used with a PEMF mat?

Yes. HigherDOSE shows the Full Body Red Light Mat stacked with its PEMF Mat as one of the ways to use it.

Is there a discount code?

We didn't find a public code on the brand's site. Kit pricing is the clearest built-in saving, and current offers are on our deals page.

The Bottom Line

Start with the space, not the spec sheet. A desk chair points to the Go Mat, a clear stretch of floor to the Pro Mat or the Sauna Blanket, a blank wall to the red light mat, and a hopeful dog to the Pet Bed. Then check the kit price against the device alone, because sometimes the kit costs less. When you've chosen, see the latest prices and offers on our HigherDOSE deals page.
